Lissette and Frank left Canada in 2014 to travel the world full-time, and since then, they have been taking things "slow," staying in the same place for two to three months at a time and utilizing it as a home base to explore the surrounding areas. Over the course of six years, they've visited over 50 different countries, with a year-long stop in Croatia in 2017 providing a welcome break. They traveled to cities including Kyiv, Bangkok, Cape Town, Kyoto, and Budapest. Lissette and Frank like to travel this way since it is less expensive and allows them to spend more time exploring a place. In 2005, they first met. Frank, aka BBQboy, caught the travel bug in his adolescence, loves seeing other cultures, and makes it a point to go on at least one big trip per year. Lissette values travel for the educational and personal growth opportunities it provides. She has a great sense of humor and is always beaming with happiness. She enjoys doing yoga and meditation and reading about the history and architecture of Europe.
