Chicago is a really fun city though I haven't gotten out much this year for obvious reasons. there's a lot of bike paths, including one that goes the entire length of the Lake Michigan shore of 12 miles. if you're interested in architecture there are some great architecture river cruises. lots of trails to hike populated with native prairie grades and plants, and the food diversity is truly something I didn't appreciate until I lived elsewhere. there's a free zoo situated next to a lovely park and across the street from a rooftop bar.
