Spent a month in Europe last year and absolutely fell in love with Italy. Started looking into Sicily and quickly realized it was the perfect start & home base for this trip. Planning on going to Catania Sicily sometime in October of 2024. The weather is around mid 70’s and the ocean temperature is right about the same. From a couple days in the huge town of Catania, to an hour train ride north to spend a few days in the beautiful town of Taormina. Explore its rich culture and history, followed by some hours at the beach, & enjoy the towns beautiful nighttime dining. After Taormina I plan on wine tasting on Mt. Etna, Europes largest active volcano. Then spend a day checking out the valley of temples. And a day checking out the city of Syracuse, which happens to be 2,700 years old. Literally a trip not to be missed
