Greetings,

I am planning a road trip for this summer. (2022) 

My travels by car may include the Great Smokey NP, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Shenandoah National Park, (Skyline Drive), through Pennsylvania, Maryland, NY, New England, Acadia NP,  and into the Canadian Maritimes.  Then return trip may either via the Great Lakes and south from there, or (more or less) down the eastern seaboard. I will be primarily camping,  resorting to Air BnBs, hotels and friend's homes only if necessary. 

I may have room for one travel buddy.  Travel buddy will have their own tent and camping gear.  ( I can provide camping gear if needed)  In most cases,  simple breakfasts will occur at the campsite, lunches will usually be picnics and dinner will be either at the campsite or dine out, whichever is most convenient at the time.

Travel will involve hiking, pretty much every day, along with cycling, swimming, boating,. (whenever  possible)

Other activities may include visiting museums, historic sites and places of special interest.  (Unlikely to visit big cities)

Travel buddy must be a non-smoker.  Expenses will be shared as appropriate. I anticipate mindful, intelligent conversation on pretty much any topic.  (there are a few exceptions)  Travel Buddy's  politics need to be open-minded, compassionate, considerate, inclusive and kind.  There is no room for hate, racism,  or bigotry on my travels.

I can provide camping gear, cooking gear/cooler, bicycles,  maps and navigation.
