Start in Bangkok, get the train to Chiang Mai, stay a few days, bus to Chiang Rai then slow boat to Luang Prabha,  stay a week or so, then down to Vientiane,  before jumping on a plane to Phuket for some R&R for a week. 

Cruisey time, no rush, no drama, just the slow pace of Laos to recenter. 

If I could find a traveller who spoke Thai and Lao, I would gladly pay you for your company to help me get to where I need safely and on time. If you could take good photos, that'd be a bonus.
