Hi! I’m Gavin from Mauritius. I’m an avid traveler with a strong background in backpacking and Couchsurfing – I’ve hosted over 50 people and have loved every exchange! I’m always up for adventure and connecting with like-minded explorers, and Sri Lanka’s calling me with its perfect mix of adventure, culture, and laid-back vibes.

Trip Overview:
I’m planning an exciting journey through Sri Lanka to dive into some unforgettable activities: kitesurfing, surfing, and diving, plus immersing myself in local culture by visiting temples and trekking. Staying in hostels to keep it low-key and friendly, I’ll also get the chance to meet travelers from all around the world. I'm especially keen on hitting the kite spots for at least five days around New Year’s.

Activities:

• Kitesurfing & Surfing: I’ll be heading to Sri Lanka’s top spots to ride the waves, especially planning around New Year’s for 5+ days of kitesurfing!
• Diving: Exploring underwater sites, reefs, and marine life.
• Trekking: Discovering scenic trails and natural beauty on foot.
• Cultural Immersion: Visiting temples and experiencing the rich heritage of Sri Lanka.

Looking For:
If you’re someone who’s into active days, relaxed evenings, and are easygoing, you’ll fit right in! You can join for the full trip or parts of it – whether you’re there for the kiting, diving, or the temples, it’ll be great to share the journey.
