I am going to Paris for a couple of months. This isn't my first trip there and I want to deeply immerse myself in the culture. Ideally rent a chambre de bonne for a month or two as a base to travel from. Mostly interested in finding amazing boulangeries, visiting museums and enjoying jazz. 

I think it would be fun to take an ocean liner, instead of a flight, from New York to Europe. I would love to get to southern France, perhaps Toulouse. 

I am extremely flexible on itinerary and dates, as long as it is after summer peak travel and home for Christmas. Ideally, I can find a travel buddy that has similar interests and can speak some French (I am working on it but REALLY bad).
