Booked and planned a trip to hike pilgrimage paths in Wakayama Prefecture during Cherry Blossom season. Seeking one laid back, reliable travel companion to join for the trek! I lived in the Kansai region a decade ago, so I am very familiar with the region. I know Japanese, so we will be able to get around with little issue.

About the Hike: 2-5 April 2025. Total trek is about 67 miles over 4 days, plus additional trekking to hit some key Cherry Blossom viewing in Yoshinoyama near Nara. Due to the guest house reservations being limited this time of year, the dates for the hike are not flexible. The hike will begin in Nachikatsuura and end in Kudoyama. You should plan to train for this trek!

Non-trekking Travel: I plan to spend some time in Kyoto, Osaka and Kobe. I will be in Tokyo as well, since that is most convenient airport for me. We can plan to meet in Osaka before heading to Nachikatsuura together, or in Tokyo then travel to Osaka together. You can join me for some or all of the trip!
