Hello Folks...this is Shreenivas here (Shree in case that's easier for you). I am 40 years old and I am a lawyer / entrepreneur from the city of Coimbatore in the southern state of Tamilnadu in India. After many years of being a stereotypical workaholic (and a corporate lawyer at that) with a penchant for setting aside personal goals and needs, which eventually led to that inevitable emotional breakdown and realisation that so much of my life has passed me by, I finally decided that I'd had enough and it was time to skip ahead to the part of my life where I take care of myself and fulfil lifelong dreams and wishes. Chief amongst these many dreams and wishes was the innate desire to travel and see the world. So I quit my corporate job in 2018 and returned to my hometown where I took over the family business (which was definitely a welcome change of pace in comparison with a high pressure corporate job). This change allowed me to by my own master and gave me some much need time and space to focus on myself and, most importantly, to travel. I started travelling solo as well in groups from 2019 onwards and have travelled to a few places within India as well as outside India. The Coronavirus pandemic and the subsequent lockdowns in India and around the world came just as I was really getting the hang of being a regular traveller and led to a nearly 2-year hiatus from travelling for me. I have just started travelling again and will be going on trips to Bhutan and Vietnam in the coming months. I truly believe that this is a fresh start again and I wish to travel and see as much of the world as possible in the coming months and years. I have a whole bucket list of places / destinations that I want to see and I'm really keen on visiting as many of them as possible / feasible.
